after several hours in the wrong direction and four trains later, i finally arrived in bonn, germany . a quaint, beautiful town now standing proudly as germany's former capital. at the heart of the city, the cobblestone streets are closed off to passing cars and people take to the cafes and shops, lounging in the cool summer days. daily the alleys and mrktplatz host vendors selling fresh flowers and produce. the local german farmers' continual announcements of whats in season - spargel, spargel - ringing throughout the crowd. and tucked away, in an seemingly insignificant building, you can even take a gander at beethoven's childhood house.
a simple hello & quick share of my home for the past couple of months.
xoxo
